In the letter, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says it takes “tenacious spirit and amazing spiritual strength to survive a helicopter crash without being paralyzed”.

Read the letter below:

“Dear Yemi, We give glory to Almighty God for sparing your life. I’m impressed by your tenacious spirit which enabled you to continue on your campaign engagement, despite the shock of the crash.

“It takes tenacious spirit and amazing spiritual strength to survive a helicopter crash without being paralyzed by its impact.

“I’m proud of our partnership and your unalloyed loyalty and your commitment to the service of Nigeria.

“How VP Osinbajo, Minister, 10 others survived helicopter crash that you proceeded with your engagements, despite the accident, is a testimony of your passion for service to country and a reflection of your admirable spiritual fervor.

“May God continue to protect you and all those on board with you, bless your lives and grant you more good health and long life to serve our country even more.”

Recall Concise News had reported two days ago how the Vice-President’s chopper which was conveying him to Kogi state crash-landed.

The VP would, however, come out hours later to declare he is fine following the incident.

It was the second helicopter incident in less than a year Prof Osinbajo would experience.

Osinbajo and Buhari are seeking another term in office as their first tenure is about to lapse. They have been going around the country – sometimes separately – for their party, the APC’s campaign.

Osinbajo particularly spearheads the Federal Government’s Trader Moni initiative, which has seen him visit some countries of the federation as election approaches.
