“I have already informed the club officials before the match that whatever happens after this match I will tender my resignation letter.”

Furthermore, elaborating to Score Nigeria, Ogbe stresses:

“I cannot be satisfied with such a result. I am completely sad with this outcome, even though I question some decisions of the game taken by the referee because of the inefficiency I noticed – which was two goals from an offside position.”

“Be that as it may, I can’t cry over spilt milk but this is not helping the development of football in this country.”

“Secondly, It is on record that I was given five matches ultimatum, this is the second one; I have three more to go.

“Unfortunately, I am going to resign from my position as head coach today (matchday 6) being my second match ultimatum.  I will not wait till I have complete the five-match ultimatum given.”

Ogbe continues

“I feel within me that this is the right time to throw in the towel, which I have   automatically done – effective from today (Sunday).”

“With regard to my previous matches played and the outcome, I have no comments for now.”
