Announcing the move on her Twitter handle, Oshoala, a three-time African footballer of the year, expressed her delight at joining the football club from her Chinese side.
She tweeted: “Delighted to join
@FCBfemeni on loan. 2019 let’s go.”
Oshoala, who was part of Nigeria’s Africa Women’s Cup of Nations triumph in December 2018, completed her medicals and signed her contract on Thursday.
The Barcelona female team are currently placed second on the log, two points behind Atletico Madrid and six points above third-placed Levante.
Asisat Oshoala is just 24 years old and she has already played for Arsenal ladies, Liverpool ladies and now, Barcelona ladies team. This is no mean feat, particularly coming from this continent. We are proud of you. pic.twitter.com/KPlUshb1wO
