Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said he is watching the performance of Governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai.
Obasanjo noted this on Thursday at the public presentation of a book, “Politics As Dashed Hopes in Nigeria” written by Auwalu Anwar, in Abuja.
El-Rufai was the guest speaker at the occasion but was represented by his deputy Barnabas Bantex.
“Thank you for coming, please give our thanks and regards to your boss,” Obasanjo, who was the chairman of the occasion, had told Bantex.
“Tell him that his boss sent a message to him. Tell him that his boss is watching his performance.”
Some of the top personalities that graced the event were the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar; a former National Secretary of the Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) Buba Galadima; and Spokesperson for the apex Yoruba Socio-cultural group Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin.
