Mouthwatering clashes have been drawn for the round of 16 of the Uefa Champions League with five-time winners Liverpool to meet another five-time champions Bayern Munich.
The Reds have not played Bayern since the competition was renamed Champions League.
And it will be a return to Germany for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who managed Bayern’s Bundeliga rivals Borussia Dortmund from 2008 to 2015.
The German champions have reached at least the semi-finals in seven of the past nine Champions Leagues.
In other parings, former champions Manchester United will take on French champions Paris Saint-Germain, while Tottenham will go against Borussia Dortmund.
Premier League champions Manchester City will square off with another German side Schalke and holders Real Madrid will battle Ajax.
