Super Falcons star Ngozi Okobi has described the past one year of her marriage as “tough” but applauded God for seeing her through.
The Nigerian star got married one year ago to a real estate mogul Ahmed Okeoghene and immediately returned to football at both national and club level.
Okobi was part of the Nigerian team that won the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana.
While celebrating her one-year anniversary, the Eskilstuna United DFF star took to Twitter to restate her commitment to love and cherish her husband.
“It’s been a tough year, but our love is tougher,” she tweeted. “Thanks for staying so strong through it all. Here’s to us…and to a brighter year ahead.”
