Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold says he has been filled with mixed feelings as his three-night event at Terra Kulture draws near.
According to the artiste, he has got his emotions mixed with fear, joy, worry, excitement, anxiety, confidence, and concern.
The iconic cultural centre in Lagos will play host to the singer as he takes the stage from December 13 to 15, 2018.
Gold, in a message to his fans, spoke of how he was recently inspired by the performance of Cassper Nyovest at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He said: “I spent 12hrs in a South African stadium watching South Africans cheer everyone on. I loved every single performance but Jesus, Cassper took me by surprise.
“This guy had just sold out the stadium the day before and could still command that audience and that reception like they had never seen him before.
“No lie, I’m still shook. Totally inspirational. Phenomenal would be an understatement.
“I remember thinking, “Lord, I want that” and I also remembered “I have that” I don’t take for granted a single day I step on a stage and I hear my name being chanted or my words being sang back to me.
“It’s not an ego boost. It’s a purpose boost for me. I feel like I am where I was made for. Two places in the world I am most comfortable, in bed and on stage.”
