Bishop David Oyedepo heads one of the ”biggest” churches in Nigeria

Digital and New Media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Tolu Ogunlesi, has condemned Bishop David Oyedepo over his statement on Buhari being dead and cloned as Jubril Sudan.

The founder of Living Faith Church worldwide, Oyedepo, had said it is possible that Nigeria is being recolonised by another African nation, referring to Nnamdi Kanu’s claim.

Oyedepo said this at his church auditorium in Otta, Ogun state, while commenting on the rumours that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead.

The Bishop quoted an article written by Olatunde Dare, a columnist of the Nation Newspaper, saying Buhari could have died when he sought medical treatment in London and that someone cloned as him, is currently presiding over Nigeria.

Referring to the piece, the clergyman said the Nigerian government entered an agreement with the family of one Jubril in Sudan to give them a replacement for Buhari and that the resources of the nation are now being shared with Sudan.

But, reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Ogunlesi described Oyedepo as a hater of Buhari.

He wrote: “Olatunji Dare, one of Nigeria’s finest satirists, wrote a piece titled ‘Buhari’s Double’ on Nov 27:

“Pastor of one of Nigeria’s LARGEST CHURCHES cites the SATIRE in a sermon (apparently yest) as evidence PMB likely dead.

“I know the Bishop has always detested PMB (its a free world, really, the right to dislike anyone is guaranteed constitutionally atink), but I don’t understand why he keeps going this far to peddle/amplify (from the pulpit) falsehood and disinformation about him. Really puzzling.
