Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has accused the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari of turning Nigeria into a jungle where human lives no longer matter.
He made this known while lamenting that humans were being slaughtered under the same government that promised to protect them.
Speaking at a rally in Lagos on Saturday, he also said the 2019 general elections cannot be conducted amid the present security challenges facing the country.
The co-convener of the OurMumuDonDo movement charged the Federal Government to tackle the issue of insecurity in the country before conducting the 2019 elections.
CharlyBoy said: “How can I forget the killing of Liman Hauwa and Sairura Khorsa, while so many other girls are still in the captivity of Boko Haram?
“Nigeria has turned to a jungle that human lives no longer mean anything to us. See how people are being slaughtered under the very watch of the very man who promised to stop terrorism.”
