The Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated the Super Falcons of Nigeria for winning the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (Awcon) title for a record ninth time.
Concise News reports that the Falcons defended the title they won in 2016 after beating South Africa 4-3 on penalties on Saturday in Accra, Ghana.
Atiku congratulated the Falcons on his Twitter page on Saturday.
His tweet read, “Congratulations to the Super Falcons. Once again, Champions of Africa!”
