Nigeria goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi has boasted that the Super Falcons will not lose to South Africa for the second time at the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
The defending champions lost 1-0 to the Banyana Banyana in their first match at the competition, but recorded wins against Zambia, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon to reach the final for the 9th time.
And speaking ahead of the game, Oluehi, who saved a spot-kick in Nigeria’s 4-2 defeat of the Indomitable Lionesses on penalties, said South Africa’s win over Nigeria was a mistake.
“Meeting South Africa in the final is what we have been praying for because we want to play them again,” she said.
”We want to tell them that winning us in the group stage was a mistake and it’s not going to happen again. I’m sure we will beat them in the final.”
