Kaduna State has gotten over N13.5bn from the Federal Government since the beginning of the National Social Investment Programme in 2015.
This came from the Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed recently during the disbursement of empowerment funds to women of Kaduna State at the Federal College of Education, Zaria.
Ahmed lauded the Kaduna State Government for the Kaduna State Women Empowerment Fund project.
According to her, this had confirmed the political will of the Kaduna Government to infrastructural and social development.
“The Federal Government through the National Social Investment Programme has since inception began implementing a number of programmes targeted at improving the lives of Nigerians, especially the poor and vulnerable members of our society,” she said.
