President Muhammadu Buhari has identified education as the master key that will open up the country for industrialization.
Buhari said this over the weekend at the 44th convocation ceremony of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State
He was represented by the Registrar, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Isha’aq Oloyode.
According to him, “We must not fail to realize that the key elements of the country’s industrialization is education, as the difference between industrialized and non-industrialized economy is education.
“As it is in Nigeria today, there is a great disconnect between education and industry. This should not be so.”
Also, Buhari restated his government’s commitment to developing the education sector in the country.
