Arsenal manager Unai Emery says the Gunners need to up the ante despite their 17-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Emery’s men overcame hosts Bournemouth 2-1 on Sunday after drawing four of their past five games.

With the win, the Gunners are just one point behind 4th-placed Chelsea in the league standings.

And speaking after the game at the Vitality Stadium, the former PSG handler said his team can do more in subsequent games.

“We’ve not lost for 17 matches but we’ve drawn some and that is not enough for us,” Emery said. “We spoke in the week about how important today [Sunday] was.

“We are happy and before the match we knew it would be a difficult match and that we needed to win today to be near the top four. Bournemouth were four points behind us and could have been near our position with a win.”
