The former governor promised to mobilise the votes of the Southwest towards effecting a change of leadership at the presidency in 2019.

Fayose said: “It is high time the people of the Southwest come together and present a common front so that it will be able to occupy its rightful place among other regions of the nation.”

In his remarks, Daniel praised the vision for the progress of Yorubaland which the former governor has always exhibited whenever the opportunity arises.

He promised an all-inclusive campaign where everybody will be involved in mobilising and ensuring an overall victory for the PDP, not only in the Southwest but nationwide.
