A herdsman Sule Sheu has been remanded in Federal Medium Security Prison for allegedly killing his brother Sule Mohammed.
Magistrate Folake Olokoyo of the Ilorin Magistrate’s Court gave the order on Friday as the accused’s plea could not be taken after he was charged with culpable homicide.
The prosecutor Sgt.Thomas Adebayo told the court that Sheu was arrested following a report by his uncle, Nabo Abubakar, at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Afon.
According to Adebayo, the accused allegedly beat up Mohammed with a stick and inflicted deep cuts on his head which led to his death.
The case was adjourned until December 3 for further mention.
