Social commentator Reno Omokri has slammed the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for remaining silent over the killing of soldiers by members of Boko Haram.
Concise News had reported that Boko Haram terrorists killed 44 soldiers and nine farmers in three days of attacks on some villages in Borno State.
According to AFP, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a Boko Haram splinter group, killed at least 44 soldiers in attacks on three military bases at the weekend.
Reacting in a post on his Twitter page on Wednesday, Omokri wondered why the president has not responded to the latest killing by the sect.
He wrote: “Boko Haram has killed 53 soldiers in just 3 days. May their souls rest in peace.
“But why has Buhari, the Commander-in-Chief said nothing?
“Was he too busy launching his plagiarised #NextLevel document to care?
“Is he looking for a condolence to Plagiarise?”
