Zambia coach Bruce Mwape is confident the Shepolopolo can overcome holders Nigeria in the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana.
The south Africans, who stunned two-time champions Equatorial Guinea 5-0 in their Group B opener, take on the wounded Super Falcons on Wednesday in Cape Coast.
The Nigerian ladies will hope to recover from their shocking 1-0 defeat to South Africa when they take on Mwape’s team.
But the Shepolopolo coach believes his team can hurt the eight-time champions to reach the semi-finals.
“We are not playing names of teams and if people think Nigeria is untouchable well and good. Our mission here is to qualify to the World Cup,” he said.
Nigeria coach Thomas Dennerby had said that his team were focused on getting the job done on Wednesday.
