The self-acclaimed leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that Nigeria is doing her best to kill him.
Kanu, who resurfaced in Jerusalem, Israel on October 19 after the military invasion of his community in Abia state, made this allegation during a live broadcast via radio Biafra on Saturday.
The pro-Biafra activist and director of radio Biafra alleged that the “Nigerian government with the help of their friends in the media” have been trying to kill him ever since he said in his Afaraukwu’s home in Abia state, that President Muhammadu Buhari “died and was laid to rest in Saudi Arabia.”
Speaking on radio Biafra, Kanu said: “Ever since I stated in my Afaraukwu home that Buhari died and was laid to rest in Saudi Arabia, the government of Nigeria with the help of their friends in the media, some of them not all of them, they have demonized me.
“They have been doing their best. Nigeria have been doing their best to kill me,” the IPOB leader alleged during a live broadcast via radio Biafra.
Concise News reports that since the IPOB leader resurfaced, he has been alleging that President Buhari is an imposter whose real name is Jibrin Aminu Al-Sudani from Sudan.
Kanu is leading a group seeking secession from Nigeria. The group has since been proscribed by the Nigerian Government.
