Former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna Dr Muhammad Sani-Bello has officially joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking at a news conference on Saturday, Sani-Bello said that he consulted with different political parties before finally opting for the APC.
He had left the PDP on 12 November due to what he said was unending mistrust between him and the state leadership of the party, and its governorship candidate, Alhaji Isa Ashiru.
He said: “Based on consultations with my supporters and other stakeholders, I have decided that from today Nov. 12, 2018, I Dr Muhammad Sani-Bello, cease to be a member of the PDP.”
Sani-Bello also said that he was not comfortable working with Ashiru, whose academic credentials were allegedly in question.
