Resurgent Real Madrid made it four wins in four games under interim coach Santiago Solari with a 4-2 at Celta Vigo on Sunday.

The Los Blancos are now within four points of La Liga leaders Barcelona, who lost 4-3 at home to Real Betis earlier in the day.

Karim Benzema gave the European champions the lead in the 20th minute with a brilliant finish from Luka Modric’s pass.

It became 2-0 for Madrid in the second-half when Benzema’s shot hit the post and went in off defender Gustavo Cabral.

Although Celta’s Hugo Mallo pulled one back, Sergio Ramos chipped in a penalty and Dani Ceballos smashed home in stoppage time after Cabral was sent off, with Brais Mendez adding a late consolation.
