Brazilian defender Dani Alves says “it is not possible” he will finish his career without experiencing life in the Premier League.
The Paris Saint-Germain right-back, who has played for a number of Europe’s top clubs – including Barcelona and Juventus, revealed that he turned down moves to Chelsea and Manchester City.
However, while the 35-year-old does not confirm whether he will play in England, he insists he will make it to the Premier League “one way or the other”.
He told The Telegraph: “The idea that I might finish my career without going to the Premier League, it is not possible.
“For sure, this is the most amazing football in the world. First, because of the respect for the players from the fans, and then because of the passion on the pitch.
“If I can play, that would be perfect, but I will make it there one way or the other.”
