2019 Election: 7 Simple Steps To Locate, Collect Your PVC

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has instructed that Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) be collected at the Ward (Registration Area).

The electoral umpire gave the instruction in a statement on its PVC locator platform to registered voters who are yet to collect their PVCs.

A statement on the website reads: “With the decentralization of the collection of Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), INEC has instructed that PVCs be collected at the Ward (Registration Area).

“This tool provides a means of identifying where exactly your ward is located so you can go there to pick up your PVC. If you experience challenges or have further questions, please contact INEC at 0700-CALL INEC (0700 2255 4632).”

Below are the steps to locate and collect your PVC…

  1. Visit: http://pvc.inecnigeria.org/
  2. Fill the PU Number Search form
  3. Enter your Polling Unit (PU) Number on the temporary voter card
  4. Select the state you registered under (Polling Unit / Ward Number Search form)
  5. Select the local government area
  6. Select your ward
  7. Click on “Find PVC” to locate your PVC.
