The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has said the country’s crude oil and gas export sales stood at $470m in August 2018.
This was revealed in the NNPC’s monthly financial and operations report for August 2018 released on Wednesday.
According to the report, the figure shows a rise of $78m as against July’s oil and gas export of $391.91m.
In addition, the report noted that crude oil export sales generated $337.62m which is 71.83 percent of the dollar transactions in contrast to the $283.43m contribution in the past month.
Also, export gas sales were pegged at $132.38m.
The August 2017 to August 2018 crude oil and gas transactions involved crude oil and gas export worth $5.26bn.
