Ibrahim Musa’s Kano Pillars team lost in the final of the 2018 Aiteo Federation Cup to Enugu Rangers in Asaba

Kano Pillars have appointed ‎ex-Flying Eagles coach Kabiru Baleria as head coach in acting capacity.

Baleria takes charge of the Sai Masu Gida following the expiration of the contract of Ibrahim Musa, who guided the club to a runners-up finish in the 2018 Aiteo Federation Cup.

“The management of the club has the confidence that Kabiru Baleria would use his wealth of experience to protect the image of the club,” the former Nigerian champions said in a statement.

“The management also hopes that Baleria will come up with new ideas that would move the club forward for the period he is going to handle the team,” the statement read in part.
