Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has attributed infrastructural development in the State to “God” and the “Holy Spirit.”
Umahi noted this on Wednesday while inaugurating his campaign organisation, the Divine Mandate Organisation ahead of the 2019 elections.
According to him, the opposition parties in the State should be afraid of contesting against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government in the South-East State.
“If I were in the opposition, I will be afraid to say I am contesting [the] election because, considering the type of structure we have on [the] ground, no ordinary man will be able to build it,” he said.
“It is God and Holy Spirit that made it possible. The people that say they are contesting [an] election, some of them cannot define [the] budget, they don’t even know what GDP is.
“They make promises like making a cross without ground.”
