Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the ATP Finals in London scheduled for next week due to an injury.
The Spaniard announced his withdrawal on his Facebook account , saying he had an ankle injury which would not let him play.
He was forced to miss the Paris Masters due to an abdominal injury.
”It has been a complicated year, very good at the level when I have been able to play and in turn very bad in what injuries refer,” he wrote on the social media network on Monday.
”I’ve done my best to get to the end of the season in good conditions, both in Paris and London, doing things right and I really felt like playing.
”Unfortunately, I had the abdominal problem in Paris last week.”
