Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State on Monday commiserated with the Nigerian Army over the murder of Maj.-Gen Idris Alkali.
Alkali’s body was dug out of a shallow well in Plateau State weeks after he had been declared missing.
The Plateau State governor paid a condolence visit to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen T.Y. Buratai, at the Army headquarters in Abuja on Monday.
Alkali’s remains were officially laid to rest on Saturday at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja.
