Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby has said he is under pressure to win the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations.
Nigeria are the defending champions of the competition and have won it for eight times out of ten editions.
And with the competition serving as the qualifier for the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France, Dennerby has admitted that he is under immense pressure to secure the crown for the West Africans in Ghana.
The Swede, has, however, told Brila FM that he can cope with managing a team like Nigeria who are serial winners.
Dennerby’s girls are currently in camp in the country’s commercial capital of Lagos and would open their campaign in the competition with the Bayana Bayana of South Africa.
