President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Okorocha is one of the state governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who are said to be dissatisfied with the outcome of the party’s primaries.
Though the agenda of the meeting was not made public, it is believed to be in continuation of the President’s ongoing efforts to resolve the post-primaries crisis.
Okorocha on Wednesday had arrogated to himself the title of landlord of the APC in the state and Southeast as a whole.
He said this while discrediting the rumour of him wanting to the leave the APC for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) barely 48hours to the submission of the Governorship and House of Assembly Candidates to INEC by Political Parties in the country.
