Four persons have been killed with 16 others injured following the outbreak of cholera in Gombe State, according to the State Government.
This was revealed by the State Acting Epidemiologist Nuhu Bile on Thursday in Gombe as he noted that the outbreak happened in October.
According to Bile, the 16 persons were hospitalised at the Primary Health Centre, Kembu in Balanga Local Government Area of the state.
He added that the State Rapid Response team alongside the World Health Organisation had visited the scene of the incident.
Also, he noted that 70 patients were treated and discharged with five people dying before medical help could get to them.
