The national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos state, arrived at the State House Villa, Abuja around 3.50pm and walked straight into the office of the President for closed doors meeting.
The arrival of the APC national leader came minutes after the Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State and a delegation from the northeast state left the Aso Rock.
Concise News reports that President Buhari’s meeting with the former Lagos Governor is coming a day after some aggrieved members of the party dined with the President at the Villa where issues relating to the primaries were discussed.
Meanwhile, some governors on the platform of the ruling party are calling for the sack of the party’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole over the just concluded primaries of the party.
More to come…
