Paris Saint-German star Edinson Cavani has won the 2018 Golden Foot Award, beating Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cavani, 31, beat other 9 nominees for the award which held in Monaco on Tuesday.
Concise News understands that the award is organized by the World Champions Club and recognizes the feats of active professional footballers above 28.
Also, the winner of the award is decided by votes from members of the public, the organizers and the media.
Cavani was part of the Uruguayan team that reached the semi-final of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
He also clinched the 2007 Copa America with his nation just as he featured for the side at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
