Lampard Speaks On Derby County Clash With Chelsea

Derby County coach Frank Lampard has said he would not celebrate if his side scores against Chelsea in a League Cup game on Wednesday.

Lampard spent 13 years at the Stamford Bridge where he won several laurels with the Blues.

And ahead of their run in the League Cup which has seen them defeat Manchester United at the Old Trafford, the English man has said he would not celebrate if his team wins the tie.

“It will be easy to do that because I respect the club,” Lampard told Metro UK.

“When I scored against them [for Manchester City in 2014], I didn’t celebrate and I wouldn’t have done in a million years.

“I respect Chelsea, but I don’t think anyone expects me to sit here and say, I don’t want to beat Chelsea.”
