President Donald Trump on Thursday blamed the media for much of the “anger” in society, a day after explosive devices were sent to CNN and Democrats.
Suspected explosive devices were on Wednesday sent to former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill and his wife, Hilary Clinton, which were reportedly intercepted by the U.S. Secret Service.
There were also reports of other potentially dangerous packages as well sent to cable network CNN.
Trump had earlier condemned the attempted bomb attack on Obama and Clinton, saying acts of political violence have “no place” in the United States.
While reacting to the news again on his Twitter page, he wrote; “A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News. It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!”
