Fifa-badged referee Adebimbe Quadri, fondly called ”Nigerian Collina”, will officiate the the 2018 Aiteo Federation Cup final between Rangers and Kano Pillars on Wednesday in Asaba, Delta state.
Quadri’s appointment was confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The 26-year-old refereed the 2016 final between Ifeanyiubah and Nasarawa United, and has handled matches in the Nigeria Professional Fastball League and Caf Champions League.
Pillars, who are seeking their second Federation Cup, booked a place in the final of Nigeria’s oldest football competition by edging past stubborn Katsina United 4-1 on penalties.
On their part, Rangers, aiming for their sixth triumph, secured a place in the final after coming from two goals down to defeat Nasarawa United 4-2.
