Kano Pillars marksman Junior Lokosa is confident the Sai Masu Gida would overcome rivals Rangers in the final of the 2018 Aiteo Federation Cup.

Pillars booked a place in the final of Nigeria’s oldest football competition by edging past stubborn Katsina United 4-1 on penalties after full time score stood at 2-2, while the Flying Antelopes secured a place in the final after coming from two goals down to defeat Nasarawa United 4-2.

“We are confident of winning the game. It does not matter who we are playing, we just want to win it and the state government has tried their best. They did what they can [sic] to motivate us. I’m sure we’ll deliver,” Lokosa told brila.net.

This year’s final is billed for Wednesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta state.
