Rangers captain Okey Odita has said that Kano Pillars are not special as the two sides prepare to face off in the final of the 2018 Aiteo Federation Cup in Asaba, Delta state.

The Flying Antelopes secured a place in the final after coming from two goals down to defeat Nasarawa United 4-2 in the semi-finals in Kano.

On their part, Pillars edged out neighbours Katsina United 4-1 on penalties after full time scores stood at 2-2 in Lagos.

Speaking ahead of the game billed for Wednesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Odita said the five-time winners were fully ready to win the trophy for the first time since 1983.

“We are in the final stage of our preparation, we know what is at stake . We want to win the final, we have what it takes to beat Kano Pillars, They are good side but not special,” he told brila.net
