The 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations would be tough for the Super Falcons, according to former Nigeria international Mercy Akide-Udoh.
Concise had reported that the eight-time African queens will battle in Group B of the competition with South Africa, Kenya, and Zambia.
Ahead of the competition billed for 17th of November, Akide-Udoh has said the games would be competitive.
“Looking forward to this year’s @CAF_AWCON. Looks like there will be some very competitive games,” she tweeted. “Let’s go, girls! #AWCON2018.”
She was part of Nigeria’s team to the Fifa Women’s World Cup in 1995, 1999 and 2003.
Nigeria are the defending champions of the AWCON. They won it in Cameron in 2016.
