The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu says he will return to Nigeria soon.
Concise News reports that the Pro-Biafra activist, who was last seen in September 2017 when military men invaded his residence in Afaraukwu, Abia State, Southeast Nigeria, was seen praying in Jerusalem on Friday.
The IPOB leader, who is on trial over treasonable felony, was granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Binta Nyako in April 2017 after spending 18 months in detention.
Kanu had flouted all the terms of the bail before the military invasion of his community on September 14, 2017.
The trial of the Pro-Biafra activist was discontinued due to his disappearance in September last year.
Speaking on his return in a broadcast via Radio Biafra, Kanu said he would return to “Biafra land” (Southeast Nigeria) and would “bring hell with” him.
His words: “Chukwu Okike Abiama has assured me that Biafra shall come, all collaborators will feel the full weight of the anger of the Biafran people.
“I am coming back to Biafra land soon and I will bring hell with me, the way it has never been seen before.”
