Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has said the team would be on a “revenge” mission when they face South Africa in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Bafana Bafana in June 2017, inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Gernot Rohr’s men on home soil and would host the reverse fixture in November.
With three wins from four games, Nigeria are leaders of the Group E race for Cameroon having gathered nine points against South Africa’s eight.
However, Musa has vowed that the West Africans will be going all out when they do battle against Stuart Baxter’s side at Johannesburg.
”We remember what they did to us in Uyo,” he said. “We are going there for revenge.”
