Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has said he is not interested in taking over the Argentina coaching job.
Jorge Sampaoli was sacked as the team’s manager following a terrible 2018 World Cup outing where the Albiceleste coach crashed out in the round of 16.
Lionel Scaloni has been in charge of the South American side on an interim basis since then.
Even though there are reports linking Pochettino to the job, he has said he is not interested in handling the 2014 World Cup runners-up.
“That they think about me for the Argentina national team is something which fills me with pride, but I have a contract of four more years here,” Pochettino told DirectTV.
“So that possibility is not something feasible.”
