Super Eagles star Henry Onyekuru will miss the team’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in November.
Onyekuru got the injury as Gernot Rohr’s men faced Libya in a qualifying game for the competition earlier this week.
The Galatasaray man came in for Samuel Kalu late-on in the clash with the Mediterranean Knights on Tuesday.
He would be out for four-six weeks, making his availability for the clash against South Africa in doubt.
The player is on loan at the Turkish team from English Premier League side Everton and missed out of the 2018 World Cup due to injury.
