Nigeria Professional Football League side Kano Pillars will camp in Benin City ahead of their 2018 Federation Cup final clash with Rangers in Asaba next week Wednesday.
Pillars boss Mohammed Babangida said the idea to camp in Benin was to avoid distraction from their supporters.
“We are leaving no stone unturned in our quest to win the Aiteo Cup for the first time in the history of the club. The government and people of Kano State are yearning for this trophy and the players are motivated to win,” he told Complete Sports
“Rangers are a very good side and we saw a lot of them in Kano where they played most of their Aiteo Cup matches. We know them well and we shall do everything possible to ensure that we beat them in Asaba.”
