Oritsemeyiwa Ineh has won a silver medal for Nigeria at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Ineh, a triple jump athlete, got the medal after leaping 16.34m in stage one in the men’s event.
Cuba’s Jordan Diaz Fortun took first after leaping 17.14m, while Praveen Chithravel placed third to win the bronze medal.
Two medals had earlier been recorded for Nigeria, with Rosemary Chukwuma and Alaba Akintola winning gold and silver in the 100m female and male events respectively on Monday.
The country is taking part in athletics, badminton, boxing, canoeing, golf, table tennis, weightlifting and wrestling.
