Miranda scored a late winner as Brazil overcame South American rivals Argentina to win a four-team friendly tournament in Saudi Arabia.

It was a game in which Neymar, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino performed below par as the Brazilians struggled to outwit an inexperienced Argentina side.

Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain and Angel di Maria were all absent, as Lionel Scaloni’s charges showed defensive discipline in the game.

Argentina’s closest chance was a Paulo Dybala free-kick which hit the crossbar.
