Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode, has described embattled former Governor of Ekiti State Ayodele Fayose as a “strong and courageous” man.
Fani-Kayode made this comment on the micro-blogging site, Twitter moments after he accompanied Fayose to the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain said he was proud to have stood “shoulder to shoulder” with Fayose at “this difficult time”, in reference to the former Governor’s visit to the office of the anti-graft agency.
Fani-Kayode tweeted: “At EFCC today with my brother Peter the Rock. He was strong and courageous. I am proud to have stood shoulder to shoulder with this great warrior at this difficult time”.

Concise News had reported earlier that the former Ekiti governor stormed the EFCC office in Abuja rocking “EFCC I’m Here” branded T-shirt.
Fayose had said: “I am here in line with my promise that I will be here on the 16th of October, and like I said to EFCC, they should await my arrival”, the governor had said when he arrived the office of the EFCC.
“This morning, they have been to my house which I think its unnecessary.”
