Super Eagles star Shehu Abdullahi has been ruled out of the return fixture against Libya in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Tuesday.

Abdullahi was substituted early on in the game that saw Nigeria run out with a 4-0 win to climb to second in the Group E standing of the qualifiers.

He was replaced by Ola Aina and the Eagles backroom staff have said the Bursaspor defender who has been battling injuries, would not play in the match in Sfax.

The player also missed matchday two of the qualifier against Seychelles due to injury.
