The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo could last for another three to four months, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The body also says that the outbreak could spread at any time to Uganda or Rwanda, which are well prepared but have not approved use of a vaccine.

Making this known on Thursday, the WHO noted that the most concerning area is the city of Beni in Congo’s North Kivu province.

In the area, dozens of people who may have been exposed to the disease are hiding from health workers, emergency response chief Peter Salama told the Media.
