A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Femi Fani-Kayode has warned his party against losing Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (PDP-Kano Central) to another party.
Kwankwaso had threatened to dump the PDP if the party’s leadership removed any member of the Kwankwasiyya movement from list of aspirants.
The former Kano State governor had conducted primaries for elective offices in the state which were allegedly won by his anointed aspirants, sidelining other PDP members.
However, in a post on his Twitter page on Thursday, Fani-Kayode stated that the opposition party needs the lawmaker to “break Buhari’s back and flush him down the toilet.”
He wrote: “The PDP must NOT lose Kwankwaso to another party.
“His “Kwankwassiya” movement is second to none in the NW and it will divide and shatter Buhari’s massive support base in the core north.
“We need him so that we can break Buhari’s back and flush him down the toilet.”
